The Night Before Christmas

It is the night before Christmas and all through the city people are rushing home to wrap presents and wait for santa to come.
Everyone that is except for Carol. She hates Christmas; the noise, the bustle, the silliness of it all.
Then, that night, she finds one of santa's elves in her apartment. He has fallen off Santa's sleigh and needs to get home before Christmas.
On the journey that follows Carol realises Christmas might not be so bad after all and in finally reuniting the elf with Santa she realises she has made a friend for life.

A show for everyone aged over 3. Produced by the MacRobert Arts Centre in 2009. The show was restaged by The Arches Theatre, Glasgow with Ronnie Leer and Laurie Brown performing in December 2013. The show was staged in 2015 by the West Yorkshire Playhouse, directed by Amy Leach The show was devised with Ronnie Leer and Ben Lewis. With design by Claire Halleran, lighting by Lizzie Powell and music by MJ McCarthy. It was stage managed by Mickey Graham and the assistant director was Hazel Darwin-Edwards. |
